Non-Surgical Procedures

Non-Surgical Skin Tightening

THERMI-TIGHT?

Thermi-Tight is the first aesthetic technology that uses thermistor-regulated radio frequency energy to achieve desired results.  Thermi-Tight uses a small treatment probe to gently heat specific tissues to a pre-determined therapeutic temperature.  After the procedure a gentle wrap is apply and the patient may resume normal activities the day after treatment.  It provides a precise and safe delivery system the targeted areas.

WHAT IS THERMI-TIGHT?

Thermi-Tight is the first aesthetic procedure, which delivers controlled thermal energy under the skin to reverse the effects of aging. Thermi-Tight is ideal for patients who want more results than non-invasive procedures can deliver and DO NOT want surgery. It’s great for problem areas of the face, neck, tummy and thighs. Clinical studies have shown Thermi-Tight is safe and effective. *

HOW IT WORKS

Thermi-Tight is a painless, micro-invasive procedure, which usually takes less than one hour, with little or no downtime. A tiny probe is inserted under the skin. Then, radiofrequency energy is applied directly to the target tissues causing immediate shrinkage. Results are immediate and improve over time.

WHAT’S THE DOWNTIME?

Thermi-Tight is a micro-invasive procedure performed using local anesthesia. Patients may experience slight swelling and redness and are usually able to return to normal activity within 24 hours.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Thermi-Tight is a single treatment solution which produces a three-dimensional improvement in the appearance of skin laxity, The effects have been shown to last several months.

Thermi-Smooth

ThermiSmooth uses radio frequency technology to plump up the skin and a great additional treatment to Ultherapy.  ThermiSmooth helps in the treatment of wrinkles and skin laxity, by heating the skin. ThermiSmooth promotes three different kinds of effect; immediate collagen contraction, immediate collagen remodeling and increased elasticity, and stimulation of fibroblasts for long term stimulation of new collagen. This treatment is wonderful before special events such as weddings. One of Dr. Sasaki’s registered nurses can perform this amazing treatment after a thorough consultation.

Silhouette InstaLift™

The Silhouette InstaLift Suture System was recently reintroduced in 2014-2015 for midface elevation and suspension of the skin and deeper tissue with a completely absorbable suture and integrated bi-directional cones (4,6,8 cones) for self-volumization and fixation without the need of an external incision. The system is composed of Poly-L Lactic Acid and Glycolic Acid material that slowly absorbs within 2 years for a relatively long sustainable lift. The InstaLift Suture System is FDA-cleared for usage primarily in the mid-face, but is also available for lifting tissue in the sagging pre-jowl and neck areas.

Dr. Sasaki's first permanent suture system was introduced in 1995 and continued in use until 2012 when more absorbable systems became available. Because of his long-standing experience with suture systems, Dr. Sasaki's Surgical Center was asked to become a training site for the Silhouette InstaLift™ Suture System in 2017. The InstaLift™ procedure is a minimally invasive alternative to facelift surgery for indicated patients who demonstrate early signs of tissue sagging. However, the system may be incorporated during an open facelift procedure to elevate the tissues and is oftentimes combined with the patient's own fat for more significant volume enhancement.

The closed procedures without a face or neck lift usually takes about 1 hour to complete for the placement of 3 sutures to each side for lifting the cheek fat pad, jowls and submandibular tissues. Patients can anticipate seeing an immediate “instant” result with minimal downtime, swelling, pain, or staining. The improvements can last as long as 18 months with the body absorbing the sutures over time—a process that stimulates collagen production for prolonged results. Repeat insertion of sutures can be considered after 18 months or sooner, depending on the individual's rate of tissue sagging or patient's interest. When the degree of tissue sagging or loss of volumization becomes too significant, however, patients may decide on an open technique where sutures can be added for more aesthetic effects.
