Dr. Sasaki understands that aging involves not only sagging of tissues but also deflation of soft tissues. Although he performs a number of surgical corrections for these problems, he is well aware that acceptable results for the patient may be realized through nonsurgical techniques. Injectable fillers, administered by either Dr. Sasaki, or his nurses, can often satisfy the patient’s concerns for deepening facial folds, wrinkles, and facial hollowing. Dr. Sasaki uses only FDA-approved fillers for immediate volumetric corrections for the nasolabial lines. These fillers are temporary, reversible and will be absorbed to leave you with the option of continuing with the filler or changing to another treatment.

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC

Voluma Area Options

Dr. Sasaki was one of the first Doctor’s in the United States to have and use Voluma.

Voluma™XC is the only FDA-approved filler for the midface to correct age-related volume loss. Natural looking results last up to two years with optimal treatment. With its proprietary mixture of low-and high-molecular weight HA, results is an efficiently and tightly cross-linked gel. This tightly cross-linked gel formulation contributes to the gel’s lift capacity and duration.

Restylane® and Juvederm®

Restylane® and Juvederm® are made of hyaluronic acids which are present normally in your body. Because these large sugar molecules contain no protein, there are minimal risks of allergic reactions and do not require a skin test. There exist differences between these two fillers that may be important to your choice. The doctor and his nurses will identify them for you to best tailor the fill for your need. After the 15 minute treatment, you can expect slight redness and swelling for a few days up to a week. A touch-up session may be required after two to four weeks to obtain optimal results. Patients may wish to combine Botox injections and the injectable filler at the same or different sites to achieve optimal outcomes for busy lifestyles.

Radiesse®

Radiesse®, another FDA-approved filler for the nasolabial lines, is composed of calcium hydroxylapatite molecules which are normally present in your body. In this case, the filler is encapsulated inside a microsphere shell. This filler should be positioned at a deeper level than the hyaluronic acid filler to obtain a smooth and long-lasting contour. This unique filler is additionally useful to provide volume and rejuvenatethe deflated midface and the emptied top of hands.

Belotero Balance

Belotero Balance – is an FDA approved dermal filler that is a cohesive polydensified matrix (CPM) process that when it is injected it evenly and completely blends into your skin, providing a natural, finished look. It integrates within your skin’s tissue. Belotero Balance fills small gaps beneath your skin’s surface, smoothing moderate-to-severe etched-in facial lines and wrinkles. Maintains normal movement and facial expression and feels natural to the touch.
