Colleen Brandt, Office Manager

I have had the honor of working with Dr. Sasaki for 30 years. I began my career in his office as a Medical Assistant, assisting in surgery and patient care, and have since grown into my current role as Office Manager. In this position, I work closely with both staff and patients to ensure every experience reflects our commitment to excellence.

I take great pride in helping maintain an office that stands out for its patient care, safety, education, and clinical research. From our Surgical Suite to our award-winning RN Injection & Device Center and InnoVessence Skin Care Center, I strive to ensure each area reflects Dr. Sasaki’s dedication and passion for patient well-being.

Liz Mellinger, Administrative Assistant

I have had the privilege of serving as Dr. Sasaki’s Administrative Assistant since 2011, bringing with me over 30 years of experience in both medical assisting and medical administration. My background provides a strong foundation in patient care, office operations, and team coordination.

Working alongside Dr. Sasaki—an internationally recognized leader and innovator in medical technology—has been an inspiring and continuously enriching experience. Natalie Abelev, RN

When I first started working for Dr. Sasaki’s medical center back in 2012, it took but only a few days for it to become crystal clear to me how lucky I was. With his reputation and pedigree as an astounding doctor and genuine human being, Dr. Sasaki simply lights up any room he enters with his dedication to the patient and his respect for the practice. Even with my extensive experience prior to joining his team, I have gained ample knowledge and mastery from this amazing work environment. Before I began my first career as an ICU nurse, I knew that my knowledge and steady hand was something unique. Getting some of my first certifications back in 2005, I knew that my calling and passion lay in transitioning away from the hospital environment to focus on improving the lives of patients through holistic aesthetic procedures. To date, I am extensively certified in a variety facial fillers, neuromodulators, various lasers, and skin-care devices and products. Having been in the industry for more than a decade, my work ethic and accomplishments are evident in the testimonials of our clients. I’ve been privileged to have participated in research studies with Dr. Sasaki and had my name published in The Aesthetic Surgery Journal multiple times. I strive to emulate the very same compassion Dr. Sasaki brings to the office, every day in my work.

Liza Papodopoulos, RN

With over 25 years of full-time experience in medical aesthetics, I bring a deep clinical foundation and a passion for continuous learning to my work. I began my career in the operating room, where I developed precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of anatomy—all of which now inform my approach to aesthetic medicine.

As an Allergan Trainer and former member of the Allergan Advisory Board, I stay at the forefront of industry advancements and techniques. I am also proud to serve as a SkinPen Ambassador, promoting results-driven, evidence-based skincare.

Education is a central part of my professional life—I regularly attend national and international aesthetic conferences to refine my skills and remain current with the latest innovations. In addition to my clinical practice, I teach fellow medical professionals how to safely and effectively administer Botox and dermal fillers, combining artistry with medical science.

My goal is to help patients look and feel their best through safe, personalized, and natural looking aesthetic treatments

Brigitte Rivera, RN

Hi, my name is Brigitte Rivera, I am a licensed Registered Nurse with over 10 years of experience in the medical field and a strong background in surgery working aside by Doctor Sasaki. Beginning my career in surgical nursing, I developed precision, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of anatomy — skills that now define my approach to aesthetic medicine.

Transitioning into aesthetics over the past 5 years, I specialize in advanced non-surgical treatments including injectables, skin rejuvenation, and customized care plans designed to enhance natural beauty while maintaining balance and harmony. Known for a gentle touch and a commitment to safety, I combine clinical expertise with an artistic eye to deliver results that look natural and instill confidence.

I am truly blessed to work alongside the best cosmetic surgeon in the field and to work alongside incredible coworkers.

 Yazmin España, Skin Care Specialist

I have over 25 years of experience as an Aesthetician. I have been with Dr. Sasaki for 13 years. Through Dr. Sasaki’s guidance, I have achieved a higher level of treating and understanding of the skin’s physiology. I provide advanced skincare treatments tailored to each patient. I also practice new techniques for enhancing beauty. I am always looking to advance my knowledge and skills for the benefit of the practice.

Rita Hernandez, Skin Care Specialist

With over 30 years of experience in the skincare industry, I have cultivated a diverse and well-rounded skill set through a variety of roles, beginning in a holistic practice, evolving through a spa setting, and ultimately specializing in medical aesthetics. For the past 13 years, I’ve been privileged to be part of Dr. Sasaki’s medical skincare team, where I work in an environment that values continued education, innovation, and excellence. I’m passionate about offering state-of-the-art skincare treatments, products, and technologies, always with a focus on achieving optimal patient care and satisfaction.

Robin Stanley, Skin Care Specialist

Over the past 19 years, I've dedicated my career to helping people feel more confident in their skin. As a California State Board Licensed Aesthetician, I've worked with clients in Pasadena, West Hollywood, and San Francisco.

I was coming to Dr. Sasaki's practice for my own skin care needs long before I became part of his team. For 15 years, I relied on his care and came to deeply admire the thoughtful and professional approach that defines the practice. His integrity, advanced skill set, and stellar reputation earned my trust early on, so joining the team truly felt like a dream come true.

Brianna Mellinger, Skin Care Specialist & Skin Care Supervisor

I am a Licensed Esthetician and Skincare Supervisor with over 8 years of experience, and I have been a proud member of Dr. Sasaki’s team since 2016. My passion lies in supporting both patients and providers, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for everyone involved. Over the years, I have developed a deep understanding of skincare techniques and product knowledge, allowing me to provide personalized care tailored to each individual’s skin needs. With a background in customer service spanning more than ten years, I am committed to ensuring patient satisfaction—from booking to post-service follow-up. I strive to create a welcoming, positive, and memorable experience for every guest I meet.

Valerie Manrique, Skin Care Supervisor

It has been a privilege to work with Dr. Sasaki since 2014. I serve as the bookkeeper for both the Medical and Skin Care departments and am one of two supervisors overseeing the Skin Care department. I also coordinate all of our events. It has been great to see how this practice has grown and thrived even through the period of covid, and after. I take great pride in helping to ensure that Dr. Sasaki’s patients are safe, supported, and satisfied at Sasaki Advanced Aesthetic Medical Center.

Patty Becerra, Medical Receptionist

I have had the pleasure of working for Dr. Sasaki for over 20 years as one of the front desk receptionists. My responsibilities include greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, providing information about surgical and nonsurgical procedures, ordering implants for augmentation surgeries, and maintaining accurate surgical logs. I also assist in scheduling Dr. Sasaki’s study patients and support the front desk in our Skincare department.

What I enjoy most about working here is the constant opportunity to learn. Dr. Sasaki is always educating our team on the latest procedures and treatments, which helps us stay informed and better serve our patients. It’s truly rewarding to assist patients over the years—they’ve become more than just names on a schedule, and I always strive to make them feel valued and cared for.

Time has flown by in this beautiful office, and I feel fortunate to be part of such a professional and compassionate team. Dr. Sasaki is a wonderful person to work for—his kindness and dedication to both his staff and patients make all the difference.

Outside of work, I cherish time with my family, especially my eleven amazing grandchildren.

Shawn Scott, Medical Receptionist

I am one of the first faces you will see when you come in for your appointment, greeting patients and helping ensure their visit is a smooth and welcoming experience. I’ve been part of Dr. Sasaki’s team since 2018, bringing nearly 15 years of experience in the medical field and over 25 years of customer service expertise.

In addition to supporting our patients, I also care for the fish in our office, which always bring smiles and a sense of calm to our space. I take pride in providing excellent customer service, interacting with patients warmly, and making sure each person feels valued and cared for during their visit.

I truly enjoy Dr. Sasaki’s positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ease with which he connects with both patients and staff. It’s a joy to be part of such a dedicated and supportive team.
