What Is LED Light?
LED is short for “light-emitting diode.” It is an established medical treatment long used to help heal wounds and improve the appearance of skin. The LightStim® Professional Bed is an FDA-cleared device for emission of 4 low-energy colored wavelengths (630nm, 660nm, 850-855nm, and 940nm) from a large number of Light Emitting Diodes (LED) within 30 panels on the bed. Different wavelengths of light address various concerns.
During LightStim Professional Bed usage each LED wavelength is a different color light that provides potential unique therapeutic benefits:
- Infrared (855nm)
- Deep Infrared (940nm)
- Light Red (630nm)
- Deep Red (660nm)
