About Dr. Cheah

Dr. Cheah earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry with Department Honors and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Southern California with distinction as a Presidential Scholar. He received his medical degree from The University College of Medicine at Ohio State University.

 

Dr. Cheah completed a 5-year general surgery residency at INOVA Fairfax in Falls Church, Virginia becoming board-certified by the American Board of Surgery. He also completed a year’s training at The John Hopkins University Department of Plastic Surgery as a Senior Post-Doctoral Research Fellow and Study Coordinator.  

Dr. Cheah completed his plastic and reconstructive surgical residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He has published in journals such as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Aesthetic Surgery Journal. Dr. Cheah has received numerous awards and presented his work at national meetings. Dr. Cheah received advanced training in the field of aesthetic surgery with an emphasis on facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, breast and body contouring, fat transfer, device-based therapies, and injectables. Understanding that aesthetic surgery is a deeply personal and transformative experience, he embraces a “less is more” philosophy. Dr. Cheah guides his patients through every step of their surgical journey with care, support, and a calming demeanor. His commitment is to deliver personalized, natural results.

After years of training, Dr. Cheah now returns to his roots in Pasadena in affiliation with the world-renown Gordon Sasaki, MD. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, golfing, reading, and traveling.
